1. Information received indicates that the members and followers of Dakshin 24-Parganas Jela Sanstha-O-Dokan Karmochari Samity will organize a demonstration in front of Alipore Post Office on Baker Road between 11.00 hours and 14.00 on 03.09.2010 in protest against their various demands. During their programme they will send a deputation to D.M. South 24-Pgs., Alipore over the said issue.
2. Information received indicates that the supporters of SEZ Birodhi Prachar Mancha will hold a meeting near B.B.D. Bag Traffic Island on N.S. Road, Kolkata from 13.30 hours to 16.30 hours on 03.09.2010 in protest against the violence perpetrated on the masses, several dignitaries are likely to address the meeting.
3. The members and supporters of Joint Forum of Left Trade Unions of Kolkata Municipal Corporation including CITU, AITUC have decided to take out a procession in front of Chapline Cinema Hall, 1, Hogg Street, Kolkata at 17.00 hours on 03.09.2010 in support of General Strike to be held on 07.09.2010 called by Central Trade Unions etc.
