Events of the Day |

1. Maha Bodhi Society of India of 4A, Bankim Chatterjee Street, Kolkata 700073 in collaboration with other Buddist Organizations will celebrate 2557th Buddha Jayanti from 24.05.2013 to 26.05.2013 at Jinaratana Hall. On this occasion they have decided to organize a religious procession on 24.05.2013 at about 14.00 hours from Mahatma Gandhi Statue of Maidan and will move along Guru Nanak Sarani, crossing of Park Street and J. L. Nehru Road, crossing of Lenin Sarani, Subodh Mullick Square, Nirmal Chandra Street, College Street, Surya Sen Street and will terminate in front of said Moha Bodhi Society of India.
2. Word Congress Monitoring Committee will organize a sit-in-demonstration in front of Marlin Building near the crossing of D. P. S. Road and T. C. Road from 14.00 hours to 21.00 hours on 24.05.2013.
3. Behala East and West Committee of T.M.C. will organize a mass rally followed by meeting in the vicinity at Roy Nagar Math, Kolkata at about 16.00 hours onwards on 24.05.2013 over the issue of completion of two years of Government
