2. The Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, W.B. Chapter, in association with AMRI Institute of Diabetic and Hormonal Disorders, Dhakuria, will organize day long programme on 14.11.2010 to mark World Diabetes Day. On this occasion a walk for diabetes will start at about 08.00 hours on the day (14.11.2010) from Deshapriya Park and will move towards A.M.R.I. Hospital through Rashbehari Avenue, Purna Das Road, Golpark, Gariahat Road and thence to venue i.e. A.M.R.I. Hospital.
3. Under the banner of Diabetes Awareness andYou, Kolkata Diabetes Walk will be organized on the occasion of World Diabetes Day on 14.11.2010 from Rabindra Sarobar Stadium. The Walk attended by people of various works of life will start from Rabindra Sarobar Stadium at about 07.30 hours on the day (14.11.2010) and after moving along Abdul Rasul Avenue, Southern Avenue, Sarat Bose Road, R.B. Avenue, S.P.M. Road, Southern Avenue, Abdul Rasul Avenue will terminate at the starting point.
4. The E.M.G. Events, 26, C.R. Avenue, 3rd Floor, Kolkata - 12, will organize Kolkata Walkathon -2010 episode on 14.11.2010 at North Gate of Victoria Memorial Hall for the noble cause of diabetes awareness and prevention on the occasion of World Diabetes Day. Earlier on the day (14.11.2010) at about 06.30 hours they will assemble at North Gate of Victoria Memorial Hall and will move along outside perimeter of Victoria Memorial Hall i.e. Queensway, Hospital Road, Hospital Road (E), A.J.C. Bose Road, Cathedral Road, Queensway and terminate at the starting point.
5. The members of Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Welfare Committee, Liluah (Howrah), will hold religious procession on the birth day of Guru Shree Jalaram Bapa at about 08.00 hours on 14.11.2010. The said procession will be taken out from Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir, 42, Sarat Bose Road to Haridevpur Jalaram Mandir which will move along Sarat Bose Road, Padmapukur Road, Ramesh Mitra Road, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Hazra Crossing, R.B. Avenue, Tollygunge (upto D.P.S. Road and Prince Anwar Shah Xing) thence to WBP area.
6. The members of Sri Sahastarjun Jayanti Samaraha Samity, 81/l, Bechu Chatterjee Street, Kolkata 9 have decided to organize religious procession in between 12.00 hours to 14.00 hours on 14.11.2010 from 81/2, Bechu Chatterjee Street. The said procession will move through Bechu Chatterjee Street, Amherst Street, Vivekananda Road, A.P.C. Ray Road, Beadon Street, Bidhan Sarani, College Street, N.C. Street to R.S.M. Square where the main programme will be held. Sectional processions from Howrah and North 24-Pgs. will arrive earlier at 81/2, Bechu Chatterjee Street to join the main rally.
